The company is dedicated in developing machines that will improve the worlds tribology testing standards and its understanding of lubrication. SERVICES & PRODUCT SUPPORT

PTI provides responsive customer support for all the products we manufacture. You benefit by working directly with the engineers and manufacturers of our products to guarantee that your machinery is working at maximum capacity. Services available include:

• Test specimens - We have developed new design specimens. This specimen named Vee Bar®, which has a U.S. Patent no. 5,955,655 enhances one the most prevalent specimen used on the market. Our specimen will fit into current Pin & Vee Block machines or the New Epsilon Linear Precision Test Machines. We offer 4-Ball test specimens in standard and custom materials that meets and exceeds ASTM standards. We are constantly expanding our offerings in this area, so please contact us for current availability.
• Rebuilding and maintenance - Please see this section of our website for more details.
• Reconditioning - With our many years of experience and expertise, PTI is able to take your existing friction & wear test machinery and refurbish it to proper working condition. With our strict quality control standards on parts, your refurbished machine will meet and exceed existing manufacturer standards. As a result, you will receive a machine that is better than the original and at a price that provides value. All rebuilding work is done in house at PTI headquarters.
• Calibration Services - Certified with traceable links to NIST.
• Data Acquisition systems - PTI can add leading edge computer data acquisition technology to your existing machinery. This feature provides your company with graphing capabilities so that test results can be conveniently provided to your customers.
